Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the V Player application or the V Player website (together, "V Player"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use V Player.

2. Definitions

• Application — the V Player software for Android phones, tablets, Android TV, and Amazon Fire TV.
• License — a paid 1-Year or Lifetime activation purchased through V Player.
• Device — any individual hardware unit on which the Application is installed and activated.
• Device Key — the alphanumeric credential issued to each Device at registration.
• Playlist — a playlist URL or credential set supplied by the user from a third-party content source.

3. What V Player is and is not

V Player is a media player application. V Player does not host, supply, distribute, sell, or recommend any channels, playlists, broadcasts, video files, or other media content. All content played through the Application is supplied by the user from third-party sources of the user's own choice. V Player has no affiliation with any content provider and takes no responsibility for the legality, accuracy, quality, or availability of any content played through the Application.

4. License grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, V Player grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Application on up to two (2) Devices per License for the duration of the License. You may not assign, sublicense, lease, sell, or resell a License or activation slot to any third party.

5. Seven-day free trial

Every Device may use the full Application for seven (7) days from first launch without purchasing a License. This trial exists so you can evaluate compatibility, performance, and features before paying. After seven days, a paid License is required to continue using the Application on that Device.

6. Pricing and payment

Current License prices are €4 for one (1) year and €8 for Lifetime. Each License includes two Device activations. Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider that acts as merchant of record. Applicable taxes, where required, are collected by the payment provider.

7. No refunds

All sales are final. No refunds are issued under any circumstances. The seven-day free trial described in Section 5 is provided specifically so you can fully evaluate the Application before purchasing a License. By purchasing a License you acknowledge that you have had a meaningful opportunity to test the Application during the trial period, you expressly consent to immediate delivery of digital content upon purchase, and you waive any statutory right of withdrawal or cooling-off period that would otherwise apply, including the right of withdrawal under European Union consumer law.

8. Device activation and account security

Each Device is identified by its MAC address and Device Key. Two Devices may be activated per License. You may move an activation to a different Device using the Switch MAC tool in the customer dashboard. You are solely responsible for keeping your Device Key confidential and for all activity that occurs on Devices activated under your License. If you suspect a Device Key has been disclosed to an unauthorized party, contact us immediately.

9. Permitted use

You may use V Player to:

• Play your own personal media libraries (Plex, Jellyfin, Emby, home NAS, local files).
• Stream from officially licensed providers, broadcasters, or VOD services to which you legally subscribe.
• Manage private streams for businesses, schools, hospitality venues, training centers, or live-event production.
• View free-to-air public broadcasts and openly licensed content.
• Perform software development, integration testing, and technical evaluation.

10. Prohibited use

You may not use V Player to:

• Stream, download, redistribute, or otherwise access copyrighted material without authorization.
• Resell, sublicense, lend, or share a License or activation slot with parties outside your household or organization.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code from the Application, except where such activity is expressly permitted by applicable law.
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with the Application's activation, authentication, encryption, or rate-limiting mechanisms.
• Use automated systems, scrapers, or bots to interact with the Application or the V Player website.
• Use V Player in any manner that violates applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights.

11. Third-party content and links

Playlists, content servers, and streams accessed through the Application are provided by third parties. V Player does not endorse, control, or accept responsibility for any third-party content, server, or service. You assume sole responsibility for ensuring that any content you access through V Player is lawful in your jurisdiction and that you hold all necessary rights and licenses.

12. Intellectual property

The Application, the V Player name and logo, the website, and all related materials are owned by V Player and protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Except for the limited License granted in these Terms, no rights are granted to you, by implication or otherwise, in or to the Application or any V Player intellectual property.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

The Application and the V Player website are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including without limitation any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, uninterrupted operation, or compatibility with any third-party content source. V Player does not guarantee that the Application will be free of errors, bugs, or interruptions.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, V Player and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, profits, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Application or website, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. V Player's total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you actually paid for the License giving rise to the claim.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless V Player and its operators from and against any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your use or misuse of the Application, or (c) any third-party content, playlist, or source you accessed or supplied through V Player.

16. Termination

V Player may suspend or terminate your License, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, engage in prohibited use, attempt to defraud the activation or payment systems, or use the Application to violate applicable law. No refund will be issued upon termination for breach. You may stop using V Player at any time by uninstalling the Application.

17. Changes to these terms

V Player may update these Terms at any time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will, where reasonable, be highlighted on the V Player website. Your continued use of the Application after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
